Position:  Field  Tech/Equipment  Installer
Location:   Waco, TX
Salary:  $40,000 - $45,000 per year  DOE  (Guaranteed pay; overtime applicable)

Job Type:  Full-time
Travel:  Approximately 50% of the year (varies from day trips to 2-3 weeks away)
Background Requirement:  Must not have any felonies 

Responsibilities:
  1. Electrical/Mechanical Troubleshooting:
    • Identify and resolve electrical and mechanical issues on-site.
    • Utilize wiring diagrams and mechanical drawings for accurate installations.
  2. Technical Skills:
    • Proficient use of volt-ohm-amp meter.
    • Apply skills comparable to car audio technicians or security alarm technicians.
  1. Physical Requirements:
    • Perform heavy lifting as required for equipment installation.
    • Maintain physical fitness for demanding fieldwork.
  1. Work Environment:
    • Work in a smoke-free environment.
    • Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines.
 
  1. Interpersonal Skills:
    • Demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills for effective communication with team members and clients.
    • Work collaboratively with various stakeholders to ensure successful project completion.
  1. Travel:
    • Be prepared for travel, ranging from day trips to 2-3 weeks away.
    • Adapt to varying work environments and project requirements.
  1. Work Hours:
    • In-office hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday.
    • Fieldwork hours: Sun up to sun down, adapting to project needs.
Qualifications:
  1. Experience:
    • Previous experience in a similar role is preferred.
  2. Education:
    • High school diploma or equivalent.
    • Technical certification in electrical/mechanical fields is a plus.
 
  1. Background Check and Drug Screening:
    • Must pass a comprehensive background check.
    • Subject to random drug screening.
