Sedona, in partnership with a local hiring manufacturer, is seeking a Metal Fabrication Plant Supervisor to lead and coordinate the activities of our production team. This role will be an on the plant floor leading key fabrication processes, including laser cutting, stamping, rolling, and bending, ensuring efficiency, safety, and high-quality output. This is a direct hire opportunity, meaning the right fit candidate will go directly onto the hiring company’s payroll and be eligible for company provided benefits.
                
Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise & Coordinate: Oversee plant operations, ensuring smooth workflow and compliance with safety regulations.
  • Quality Control: Inspect materials, products, and equipment for defects or malfunctions.
  • Process Improvement: Recommend and implement measures to enhance production efficiency and product quality.
  • Training & Equipment Expertise: Serve as an expert and trainer in the use of fabrication machinery.
  • Customer Interaction: Resolve issues and maintain a high level of customer service.
  • Collaboration & Communication: Work closely with company leadership to track job profitability and optimize plant operations.
  • Supply Management: Order necessary materials and supplies to maintain production flow.
 
What We’re Looking For:
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years of supervisory experience in a metal fabrication or similar environment.
  • Technical Knowledge: Hands-on familiarity with fabrication equipment and processes.
  • Leadership & Coaching: Ability to mentor and develop a strong production team.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
