Job Title: Extruder Machine Operator
Location:  Waco, TX
Schedule:  Monday-Friday, 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM
Pay:  $17.00/hour
Sedona Staffing Services  is hiring for an  Extruder Machine Operator  in Waco, TX. We are seeking a dependable and motivated individual who can safely and efficiently operate machinery in a fast-paced production environment.
Job Purpose:
Operate and maintain extruder machines while ensuring efficiency, quality, and safety. Demonstrate a commitment to continuous improvement, teamwork, and workplace safety.
Job Duties:
  • Set up, operate, and monitor extruder machines.
  • Ensure proper fit, calibration, and performance of machinery.
  • Inspect products for quality and report issues to the supervisor.
  • Collaborate with team members to improve efficiency and maintain workflow.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.
  • Follow all safety protocols, wear required PPE, and report any incidents or hazards.
  • Support scheduling adjustments as needed to improve production efficiency.
  • Communicate effectively with the team and supervisors regarding any concerns or improvements.
Skills/Qualifications:
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask.
  • Good listening skills and a positive, cooperative attitude.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt in a team environment.
  • Prior experience in machine operation or manufacturing preferred.
Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to stand for extended periods (up to 2 hours at a time).
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
  • Capability to perform physical tasks such as walking, bending, squatting, and climbing.
  • Comfortable working in hot and cold environments with exposure to dust, fumes, and moving machinery.
