Job Title : General Fabricator 
Shift:  1 st , Fulltime 
Job Location:  East Moline, IL
 
Compensation:
The pay rate for this position is:
 
  • Pay Rate: $17
 
Responsibilities:
General Fabricator has the following responsibilities and duties:
 
  • Responsible for the wrapping of coil around the hopper pans.
  • Ability to solder using an iron.
  • Responsible for  departments  cosmetic work on items such as beaters and top panels.  
  • Ability to grind, compound, polish, deburr, peel paper, seal and assemble items according to the specifications.  
  • Track inventory of components to prevent shortages.  
  • Work with other departments to satisfy assembly needs.  
  • Also perform any other duties assigned by supervisor.
 
Requirements: 
General Fabricator should have the following skills, education, and experience:
 
  • Must  be skilled in blueprint reading. 
  • Work safely and consistently, ensuring high quality while performing repetitive operations.   
  • Quality conscious.  
  • Must be able to lift 50 pounds.  
  • Must be able to stand, sit, bend, twist, kneel.  
  • Must be able to be trained in the proper use of other assembly line equipment including (but not limited to) overhead hoists and pallet jacks.  
  • Must be able to understand and complete departmental paperwork.
