Pay/Salary:            $17.00-$18.00 per hour .      DOE.
Hours of Work:        7 :00   am- 3:30  pm Monday  -  Friday.    
 
RESPONSIBILITES:
  • Study blueprints and design specifications to ascertain the configuration of plumbing equipment components and to ensure proper installation
  • Comply with all applicable standards, policies, or procedures, such as safety procedures or the maintenance of a clean work area.
  • Measure, Cut and  Assemble pipe sections, tubing,  f ittings  and fixtures , using  pipefitter tools  and sealants.
  • Cut or drill holes in floors, walls, or roof to install equipment, using power saws or drills.
  • Test  pipes or plumbing fixtures with water or air and observe pressure gauges to detect and locate leaks.
  • Install, connect, or adjust thermostats, humidistats, or timers.
  • Connect heating or air conditioning equipment to fuel, water, or refrigerant source to form complete circuit.
  • Assemble, position, and mount heating or cooling equipment, following blueprints or manufacturer's specifications.
  • Inspect and test systems to verify system compliance with plans and specifications or to detect and locate malfunctions.
  • Other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • High school diploma or equivalent  is required
  • A minimum of one  year of experience in Plumbing  is required
 
PHYSICAL ABILITIES:
  • Must be able to bend, squat, stoop, twist, knee, push and pull, and stand for 10-12 hours
  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position for several hours
  • Must be able to lift 60lbs.
  • Other physical requirements as needed for job
