SHIFT: 1ST SHIFT
WAGE: $22-$27/HOUR
LOCATION: DYERSVILLE/CASCADE AREA
 
Job Summary:
 We are looking for a skilled MIG/TIG Welder with experience in welding steel and aluminum. The ideal candidate will be responsible for producing high-quality welds in a variety of materials, including steel and aluminum, to meet customer specifications and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Set up and operate MIG (Metal Inert Gas) and TIG (Tungsten Inert Gas) welding equipment.
  • Weld steel and aluminum components based on engineering drawings, blueprints, or specifications.
  • Perform welds on various parts, ensuring proper joint preparation, heat settings, and welding techniques.
  • Inspect welds for accuracy and quality using visual inspection, gauges, and other testing methods.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring safety standards are followed at all times.
  • Perform routine maintenance and basic troubleshooting on welding equipment.
  • Collaborate with other team members, including fabricators and supervisors, to ensure timely and accurate project completion.
  • Follow all safety protocols and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Adhere to company policies and industry regulations, including environmental guidelines.

Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in MIG and TIG welding, specifically with steel and aluminum.
  • Strong knowledge of welding techniques, tools, and materials.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
  • Familiarity with welding safety practices and PPE usage.
  • Good manual dexterity and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Good communication skills and problem-solving abilities.
