Pay Rate: $17+ Depending on Experience
Responsibilities:
CNC Machinist
has the following responsibilities and duties:
-
Set up and operate selected groups of manual equipment and computer-controlled production machines.
-
Monitoring production process and intervening when problems arise.
-
Inspect finished parts for flaws and defects.
-
Maintain a safe and clean work environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
-
Know machine setup and G&M codes
-
Perform side operations as required while CNC is running.
Requirements:
CNC Machinist
should have the following skills, education, and experience:
-
Mill and lathe operations.
-
Strong organization abilities.
-
Ability to lift and move heavy equipment.
-
Knowledge of G-code, conversational and other programming languages.
-
Ability to use measuring devices such as micrometer, caliper, and height gauge.
-
Machining certificate preferred
-
Excellent blueprint reading
-
Recent proven longevity in a machinist role.
