Job Title: Janitor (for the warehouse)

Work Hours: Monday-Friday, 7 AM to 3:30 PM

Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Janitor to join our team and help maintain the cleanliness and orderliness of our warehouse.

Key Responsibilities:

Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors
Dust and wipe down surfaces, including shelves, equipment, and windows
Empty trash receptacles and dispose of waste
Clean and sanitize restrooms and break areas
Operate high lifts to clean ceilings and high surfaces, ensuring safety protocols are followed
Replenish supplies such as soap, paper towels, and toilet paper
Perform routine maintenance tasks as needed
Report any maintenance or repair needs to the supervisor
Adhere to all health and safety regulations

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent
Proven experience as a janitor or in a similar role
Ability to work on high lifts and comfortable working at heights
Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies
Familiarity with Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS)
Good physical condition and strength, capable of lifting and moving heavy objects
Attention to detail and conscientiousness
Reliable and able to work independently with minimal supervision

Working Conditions:

Primarily indoors in a warehouse environment
Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) such as harnesses when working on high lifts
Exposure to cleaning chemicals
Regular lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
