 Plant Engineer/Production Manager
Hours:  Split Shift
Salary:  BOE
Location:  Wilton Iowa

Sedona Staffing is recruiting a split-shift Plant Engineer/Production Manager for the Wilton area.     The position is a direct hire, with great benefits for this company.   
 
Responsibilities
 
  • Ensure daily operations run smoothly
  • Focus on equipment and machinery
  • Directing plant personnel in proper methods and procedures
  • Designing manufacturing systems to optimize the use of computer networks, robots & material
  • Improve process with layout and design and supervise engineering projects
  • Checking for safety and environment, mental compliance
  • Motivating supporting and providing guidance to production staff
  • Ensuring all safety and health standards are met to keep an organization accident-free
  • Evaluating machining resources to ensure continued production and minimal downtime
  • Establishing a balance between increased productivity and reduced cost of manufacturing operations
  • Setting productivity goals for each team
  •  Must be able to run a variety of machines such as CNC machines, deburred, drill presses, A3R machines,  and saws
Requirements
 
  • Works with general supervisor from supervisor/manager,  or other department leads.
  • Follows procedures/guidelines to complete tasks 
  • Developing workflow policies and procedures that improve efficiency without compromising safety or quality
  • Ensuring adequate scheduling of staff
