Job Title:
Mechanical Assembler
Work Hours:
Monday-Friday, 7 AM to 4:30 PM
Pay:
$17.00-$20.00/

Key Responsibilities:
- Assembly and Integration:
Assemble mechanical components, sub-assemblies, and systems according to engineering drawings, blueprints, and work instructions. This includes installing, aligning, and securing parts and components accurately.
- Quality Control:
Perform quality checks and inspections to ensure that each product meets the high-quality standards. Identify and report any defects or deviations from specifications.
- Tool Usage:
Utilize a variety of hand and power tools, including wrenches, screwdrivers, drills, and pneumatic tools, safely and efficiently during the assembly process.
- Documentation:
Maintain accurate records of assembly activities, including parts used, work completed, and any issues encountered. Report any necessary changes or improvements to supervisors.
- Collaboration:
Work closely with other team members, such as engineers, technicians, and quality control personnel, to resolve assembly-related issues and improve processes.
- Safety:
Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment. Report any safety concerns or incidents promptly.
- Continuous Improvement:
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives by suggesting process enhancements and sharing ideas for efficiency gains.
- Training:
Stay up-to-date with new assembly techniques, equipment, and technologies through ongoing training and skill development programs.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical school or vocational training in mechanical assembly is a plus.
- Previous experience in mechanical assembly, preferably in an industrial or manufacturing setting.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints.
- Proficiency in using various hand and power tools.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.
- Knowledge of safety protocols and a commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to changing assembly processes and technologies.
