JR Mechanical Engineer 

HOURS: Mon – Fri 7:30 am to 4 pm 

JOB LOCATION: Vista, CA. 

COMPENSATION:$21 to $24 DOE 

DETAILS: The Associate Mechanical Engineer is responsible for having all necessary documentation complete, accurate and on schedule for all current and new client prospects. This includes items such as assembly drawings, parts list, bills of material, Appendix A and /or AQ, harness drawings, manufacturing instructions and test procedures.

SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS/DUTIES:
  • Create cut lists, wire schedules, BOMs and other engineering documentation as needed. Load MI and BOM information into Ad-On
  • Develop, evaluate and improve manufacturing methods, utilizing knowledge of product design, components, fabrication processes, tooling and production equipment capabilities, assembly methods, test methods and quality control standards.
  • Work closely with the Quality Department on cable, harness, mechanical assembly and test issues. 
  • Read and understand component drawings, schematics procedures and specifications, with an understanding of dimensions and tolerances. • Have excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills. 
  • Have working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and MRP 
  • Ability to utilize basic test and measuring equipment. 
  • Working knowledge of IPC/WHMA-A-620.
