Job Title :  Tool and Die  Maker 
Shift:   1 st , Fulltime

Compensation:
The pay rate for this position is:
 
  • Pay Rate:  Depending on Experience
 
Responsibilities:
Tool and Die  has the following responsibilities and duties:
 
  • Re ading and interpreting blueprints, design schematics, and CAD drawings. 
  • Visualizing and computing metal shapes and tolerances. 
  • Setting up machine tools such as drills, lathes, grinders, and milling machines .  
  • Filling, grinding, and shimming metals to ensure a smooth finish. 
  • Fitting and assembling tools and die parts.
  • Inspecting finished dies and tools for defects, smoothness, and contour deformities.   
  • Conducting test runs with completed tools and dies. 
 
Requirements:  
Tool and Die Maker  should have the following skills, education, and experience:
 
  • Prior experience working as a Tool and Die Maker. 
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and design schematics.   
  • Extensive experience with metalworking tools including drills, milling machines, grinders, and lathes. 
  • Ability to lift heavy objects and operate large machinery.     
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Advanced troubleshooting skills.     
  • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering  o r a similar field preferred.   
  • Experience with quality control analysis. 
  • Proficient in AutoCAD, SolidWorks and updating design drawings a plus.
