Job Description: Production Machine Operator/Inspector (2nd Shift)
Pay Rate:  $14.50/ hr  to start, increasing to $16.50/ hr  after 90 days
Shift:  2nd Shift

Position Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Production Machine Operator/Inspector to join our team. In this role, you will oversee the production process, inspect product quality, and ensure smooth transitions between production cycles. This position offers growth opportunities, a structured schedule, and regular downtime intervals between tasks.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate production machines to process products efficiently and accurately.
  • Inspect the quality of the finished product to ensure it meets company standards.
  • Remove finished products from the machine and load new rolls to begin the next production cycle.
  • Monitor and document production activities, addressing any issues promptly.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace in compliance with safety guidelines.
  • Utilize downtime (8 to 15 minutes between production cycles) effectively to prepare for the next operation or perform other assigned tasks.
 
Qualifications:
  • Prior experience in a manufacturing or production environment is preferred but not required.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to identify quality discrepancies.
  • Basic mechanical aptitude to operate and troubleshoot machinery.
  • Reliable work ethic with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Flexibility to work assigned shifts and occasional overtime as needed.
 
Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
  • Capability to lift and handle materials as needed during roll changes.
