Compensation:
The pay rate for this position is:
 
  • Pay Rate:  $ 1 6-18 / hr  depending on experience 
 
Responsibilities:
Hand Honer   has the following responsibilities and duties:
  • Carefully and safely handle sharp cutting tools.
  • Carry tools from  shelf  to work area and back.
  • Hand file flats on cutting edge of bits.
  • Measure flats in microscope.
  • Assist co-workers with washing tools.
  • Assist co-workers with washing coolant holes from time to time.
  • Keep  work  area clean and organized.
 
Requirements: 
Hand Honer   should have the following skills, education, and experience:
  • Requires High School Diploma/GED
  • Ability to communicate with management employees, customers and other employees of the organization.
  • Basic Math Skills  required,  ability to read decimals.
  • Ability to read, analyze and interpret technical documents.
  • The specific vision ability required is close vision, depth perception, the ability to focus and identify and distinguish colors while using the microscope.
  • Lift up to 25lbs
