Job Title: Welder/Fabricator
Location: Hewitt, TX
Hours: 1st shift and 2nd Shift 
Pay: 19-$22/hr to start DOE

Job Type: Full-time, Temp to Perm

Sedona Staffing Services is currently seeking an experienced and skilled Welder to join our team and contribute to the success of our projects!

Responsibilities:
  • Welding:
  • Perform welding tasks primarily using MIG techniques to assemble or repair metal structures and equipment.
  • Experience with MIG welding is required.
  • Experience with other welding techniques (TIG, ARC) is preferred.
  • Interpret and follow blueprints, specifications, and schematics to ensure accurate welds.
  • Quality Control:
  • Inspect welded surfaces, structures, and components to ensure they meet company and industry standards.
  • Address and rectify any defects or issues in the welding process.
  • Safety Compliance:
  • Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a secure work environment.
  • Utilize personal protective equipment (PPE) and follow safety procedures at all times.
  • Equipment Maintenance:
  • Maintain and clean welding equipment regularly to ensure optimal performance.
  • Report any equipment malfunctions or issues to the supervisor.
  • Collaboration:
  • Coordinate with other team members and departments to complete projects efficiently.
  • Communicate effectively with supervisors and colleagues to ensure a smooth workflow.
Qualifications:
  • Proven experience as a Welder in a similar work environment.
  • Significant experience with structural MIG welding is required.
  • Experience with other welding techniques (TIG, ARC) is preferred.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and welding symbols.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
  • Knowledge of safety procedures and willingness to follow them rigorously.
  • Physical stamina and strength to perform welding tasks and handle materials.
  • Certification in welding is a plus.
Education: High school diploma or equivalent. Additional vocational training or certification in welding is preferred.
